Accommodation Rates
Kauriglen sets its tariff to be affordable and comparable with local motel rates. This usually for larger groups works out as low as $60 per person per night. All charges are fully discussed and agreed beforehand. Extra catering and other services are separately negotiated. Payment of a minimum 30% non-refundable deposit is essential to obtain confirmed advance bookings.
All prices quoted are for a minimum of two nights for two adults, twin share, own kitchen facilities, prices are quoted in NZ$'s, and include GST.
Apartment and Chalet ... couples and larger groups ... as low as $300 ... including GST ... less for longer stays mid week and off peak. This "basic" quote is for a minimum of two nights for two persons
All linen and towels supplied, tea, coffee and milk included plus for an additional charge ... a sit down cooked breakfast with Puhoi Coffee's Espresso at an additional $20 per person (advance booking of all meals essential).
Full run of the entertainment area and Long House facilities, glow worms and the Kauriglen private track walks including by arrangement wood fired hot-tub.... booking of hot tub (24 hr notice) and use of large spa by arrangement. Use of dining facilities and menu supplied for dinners and use of cellar-beer fridge and BBQ's.
"Weekday Special" ...two nights minimum all up $ 200... Monday through Thursday, full run of the facilities including hot-tub and spa .... booking (24 hr notice) essential.
"Casual vacancies" ...walk up, see if we have a casual vacancy price on enquiry... longer stay terms by negotiation.
Competitive group booking and seasonal rates can be agreed. High season (October to June) has a minimum of two persons for two nights.
Credit cards and eft-pos facilities are not provided but ‘may’ be arranged with prior notice. Internet banking (DC) payment is available at the Lodge and settlement of accounts in this manner is much appreciated and preferred. Advance bookings require payment of a deposit and provision of a (secure) credit card number.
